Lotus Temple

Lotus TempleEver time ago, we visited the world’s rarest buildings. Among them we mentioned the Lotus Temple (Lotus Temple), an extravagant building that today we dedicate ourselves fully disclose. The shape of the Lotus Temple mimics that of a flower, with its 27 giant marble petals that surround the interior. Located in the village of Bahapur, New Delhi, India, and is an architectural marvel of the Bahai religion, recognized around the world. The temple is open to all religions in the world who can visit without restriction.

The shape of the Lotus Temple respects the guidelines of the Bahai architecture, with a circular shape, this time composed of 27 petals of marble, inspired by the lotus flower. The temple is accessible by nine doors that open onto a central site with capacity for 2,500 people. The interior has a space that reaches 40 feet high.

Within the environment, is surrounded by ponds and gardens. Everything is too charming to resist someone to visit him. The Lotus Temple, received since its opening in 1986, millions of visitors, being an icon as emblematic of India as the Taj Mahal. On the Bahai Faith, though not a majority in India, has a remarkable fervor and rising, thanks to its history. The Temple is just the climax of worship of the Baha’i religion
