And one of these islands of Korcula, in southern Dalmatia region, the green and unspoiled island on the Adriatic, a place where you go to be in private, without stress, without pressure or hassles, just to stroll through its streets in Venetian style. Think of your capital with the same name, Korcula, Dubrovnik is to imagine a tiny but, more contained and intimate. A small town of just 4,000 inhabitants seems to have been stuck in the past. A place where we can easily imagine how it was that time with the Mediterranean and the Adriatic were the center of trade to the East.

Historically, this city founded by Antenor, one of the heroes of that famous story of Troy, the island was first occupied by Greeks and later by the Romans.
