The city retains the charm and traditions of old Mexico and is a place where one can relax in its wonderful beaches.

The city is the ideal place for those who are interested in the culture of Mexico. The city retains many traditions and today you can see the old structures and facades of colors that previously reigned in the region.

Mazatlan is one of the best tourist destinations for those who like water sports and fishing, especially because nowadays, there is no mass tourism and in other coastal cities, which gives it a certain charm to the city.

Even until the mid-twentieth century, many famous actors vacationing on these shores. Movie stars from around the world the likes of John Wayne, Gary Cooper or John Huston traveled to this city to go fishing. Even today this sport is one of the most popular cities.

The city, in the state of Sinaloa, is located in the Pacific Ocean. The city was founded in 1531. For many centuries, the port of Mazatlan was one of the most important of the region, as many boats from the mines of gold and silver passed through this city. Due to the large number of immigrants from Germany who decided to settle in this city during the 1800s, the city managed to create a curious mixture of both cultures that even today you can see reflected in the music band, which has clear Bavarian roots, and Pacific Brewery, founded in 1900.

El Faro de Mazatlan is one of the most recognized structures. The lighthouse dates from 1879 and part of the installation was made in Paris years earlier. Interestingly, due to curious lamp and Fresnel lens during its first years, many sailors thought that the lighthouse was actually a very bright star. Today, the lighthouse has been upgraded and can be seen 60 miles away, and is considered one of the highest natural lighthouses in the world. Near the lighthouse, on cliffs, the most daring, known as the divers, practice jumping into the water from the base of the lighthouse.

Known as the Pearl of the Pacific, this city has a lot of beaches, stresses the Malecon from Mazatlan, which has a length of 21 kilometers. In Old Mazatlan, which is located in the center of the city are some of the most iconic beaches, such as Olas Altas, Playa Norte, or Los Pinitos. In the Golden Zone are some of the best known beaches. Emphasize the Playa Gaviota, Playa Sabalos, and Silver Shrimp. In the New Mazatlan buildings are newer and there are the beaches Playa Bruja, north of Cerritos, and the beaches Dolphin or marble.

One of the most popular actors of the country, Pedro Infante was born in this coastal city. The actor and singer was one of the most important during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.

The city has hosted a variety of historical characters through the years. The famous opera diva Angela Peralta died in Mazatlan, and one of the most famous theaters in the city is called the Teatro Angela Peralta in his honor. The theater is located in the Plaza Machado, next to the hotel where he died.

Stone Island, a peninsula that is part of the coast, is a good place to visit during a tour of a day. There are several boats that take tourists to the traditional island full of fishermen. The magnificent beaches, traditional restaurants and a variety of water sports such as horse riding and sports do not leave anyone indifferent.

Constitution Street is one of the most important streets of the city. There are a variety of colorful buildings, shops and restaurants. The street crosses the famous Plaza Machado. The charming Plaza Machado, full of fountains, is located in the historic city center. The center is full of squares, restaurants and terraces. While strolling through the streets one can see a variety of art galleries outside or visiting the craft markets are held once a week.

In the cultural sphere highlights the Teatro Angela Peralta, which is located in the Plaza Machado? The building dates from XIX century and has several concert halls, galleries and a conservatory. The Sinaloa Symphony is responsible for providing a variety of plays throughout the year.

Mazatlan is also known for their holidays, in particular highlights the Carnival, which takes place once a year after Easter. During the week of the carnival the streets are filled with music and people, and there are a variety of art works and theatrical productions outdoors.

Pneumonias are the traditional taxis in the city, reminiscent of a golf cart. The Port of Mazatlan is a place of great historical importance in the city. From this port, where ships unloaded before full of gold and silver, many ferries and cruise ships depart.

The beaches of the region and small islands like the Isle Diablo or White Rocks, which lie in the thing is full of marine life and exotic birds. Depending on the season, was able to observe lions, toucans and parrots.

A variety of tropical trees growing in the region, which is gives the city its own aroma. In the numerous beaches of the city you can enjoy activities such as horseback riding, watching the exotic birds, snorkel or tour the nearby islands on a ferry.

The country is known for its beaches, its nature only unaltered by man and by its traditional culture.

The Republic of Kiribati consists of a coral island and 32 atolls. The country lies on both sides of Ecuador and bordering the International Date Line Change Date. The country became independent in 1979 and 21 of the 33 islands are inhabited.

The country used to be on both sides of the International Date Line Change Date, until the government took the decision to change the line to the east. This step enabled the nation to be the first country to enter the third millennium, an event which attracted many tourists.

Caroline Island was the first to enter the new millennium, and it is now known as Millennium Island. Interestingly, Kiribati is the only country in the world is found in both hemispheres and both sides of 180th meridian.

The Gilbert Islands are the most populous areas of the country. However, many other islands are uninhabited islands, as most of the Phoenix Islands and some of the Line Islands.

One of the most famous islands is Kirimati Island or Christmas Island, known for its wide range of water sports offered. On Christmas Island also offers several cultural activities. The most common activities are fishing and bird watching, because the island still retains its nature. Other joint activities are diving and snorkeling.

Banaba Island belongs to the Gilbert Islands. This island is the country’s highest point, a hill just 81 meters in height.

The Phoenix Islands belong to this group of atolls. These beautiful islands are now known as the largest marine nature reserve in the world.

The capital is Tarawa. The natives, known as the I Kiribati, make up the bulk of the population. They even have their own language, Gilbertese, although English is the official language. Tarawa is famous for being the place where they held the Battle of Tarawa during World War II. There are several museums dedicated to the theme of the battle on the island. However, what stand out are its beautiful beaches.

Abaiang atoll is north of the main islands. The coral atoll is famous for its stunning lake that invites visitors to relax. A few meters from this atoll are the Bingham Canal, which connects the lagoon to the majestic Pacific Ocean.

In general, Kiribati culture is based around family values, the church and the sea. The music and dance form an important part of the country’s culture. There are several types of dance from the dance standing Kaimatoa you, to the dance of the hips, Te Buki. The country also has its own martial art power, which includes the disciplines of Nabakai, Nakara and many others.

Tourism forms an important part of life in Kiribati. Among the most popular activities include tours of the many gaps. The islands are also home to several museums, and excursions through the points that were made during the Second World War. For the more adventurous, tours are organized by plane, from where tourists can admire the beauty of the coral islands.

There are few cities and a few islands, of which, Kizhi Island, is an outdoor museum.

The largest city in the region is the regional capital, the city of Petrozavodsk. The city lies on the banks of Lake Onega. This city is known for its buildings, built in the neoclassical architectural style.

Petrozavodsk is known for its squares and neoclassical buildings, stresses the Plaza Redonda, which dates from the eighteenth century but was rebuilt in the nineteenth century. One of the most important and famous is the Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral, which dates from 1832. Even today you can see where they built the first church in Petrozavodsk in 1703.

Other attractions include the statues and monuments around the city, such as granite and bronze statue of Peter I, 1832, and the statue of Derzhavin Gavrila, an eighteenth century poet. The statue of Kirov is one of the most majestic of the city.

The city lies along the Gulf of Petrozavodsk. The embankment has been remodeled and is now made of granite and marble from the region. It is decorated with various statues postmodernists, and many of the statues are gifts from sister cities around the world.

The history is very present in this city on the banks of Lake Onega. Even today you can see a statue of Lenin in one of the central squares, while one of the most important streets still bear the name of Karl Marx. This avenue is one of the main streets, ranging from the Kirov Square, known for having four theaters, almost to the lake. The street has a huge park on one side while on the other side are the best cafes and shops in the city.

This city has a great culture. Here is the Karelia Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1933. The Musical Theatre of Karelia, founded in 1955, is the most prestigious theater in the region, although another major theater is the theater Finnish National Theatre of Karelia. It also highlights the National Library of Karelia, which has a large collection of historical archives. One of the most important museums is the National Museum, which dates from 1871 and has large collections of artifacts and art from the region of Karelia and the rest of Russia and Finland, as well as a branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Near the city is Martisialnye Vody, the country’s oldest spa. This spa was founded in 1714 by Peter I. The spa has its own museum that tells the story of the hot springs and place, although there are no remains of the Royal Palace that was here.

The region is famous for its natural landscape, barely big cities. There are two nature reserves, the National Park Vodlozhero of over 6,000 square kilometers and Paanajärvi National Park. It’s an opportunity to be surprised at how tiny we are facing the vast universe.

Tourism astronomical independent of the season we meet, is in constant growth, and Chile is one of the best places to appreciate it.

The Region of Coquimbo, in Chile, is also known as the “Region Star” capable of providing a clean sky for astronomical observation. This allowed the proliferation of observatories in the area, in turn boosting its tourism edge. They can use large telescopes and all the instrumentation with which scientists have given life to these places.

Observatories
Some visitors will be fleeting: Certain sectors, in which astronomers are working every day, will be open to the public so that we know what it is.

For example, the International La Silla Observatory, located in La Higuera, we can make use of telescopes ready, every Saturday afternoon throughout the year (except June and July because of the weather conditions). The tours are free and are assisted by specialized guides.

Another interesting place to visit is the Inter-American Observatory Cerro Tololo, in the province of Elqui, at 2200 meters above sea level. Annually receives many visits from students in the investigative framework, and also welcomes travelers who want to learn about their facilities, on Saturday morning and afternoon.

Astronomical Observatories
On the other hand, there are other tourist character observatories have been created especially for the enthusiastic traveler can feel an expert overnight. For this it has adapted facilities and some even have a museum where you can learn more about the subject.

Pangue Observatory, in the Elqui Valley, has 30 degrees south latitude, allowing it to boast of one of the best views of the heavens that surround it. As in most of these establishments, visitors can use the computerized telescopes and enjoy tours and observing sessions.

For those who want to take pictures of what they see, you can visit the Observatory collowara in Churqui hilltop at 1300 meters above sea level. The premises have prepared a telescope to capture images. Other features include direct observation decks outdoors, and an auditorium where visitors can enjoy audiovisual material.

The astronomical map
It’s large number of observatories, both scientific and created for tourism that can be distributed over the region of Coquimbo, both the province and in Choapa of Limari, through the province of Elqui.

Beyond the wonders of the sky, the Coquimbo region has beautiful valleys, mountains, spas, and various attractions such as cultural centers, museums, exhibitions and churches. It also has several offers of accommodation and local cuisine.

Far from lying in the sun, the spa has become supreme relaxation centers, but what actually offer a spa or a spa?

Here we have the details on this type of health tourism, which has its origins hundreds of years ago. Between healing waters and mud baths, discover the benefits of the Spa and hot springs to take a trip to drop you as new.

The origin of the Spa goes back to time immemorial and since that time, the thermal waters were used for therapeutic purposes. The note within these sites gives people, now located in Belgium, where it was famous in Roman times for its rejuvenating baths. That village is called Spa, and hence the origin of the word.

Beyond the Romans and their relaxation centers, the health tourism is preferred by those seeking alternate entertainment to improving the quality of life. Rest and relaxation seem to be the cocktail chosen to address the stress of life in large cities. And that is increasingly travelers opt to use quiet places that aim to restore harmony between body and mind. It is popularly called the recreational value of water: in these places the dispersion is combined with benefits for your health.

Another advantage offered by the Spa is the infrastructure to serve the convenience and taste of emergency. On the menu you can choose between different treatments (not all water use), some of them ancient. Here the saying of “Men sana in corpore sano” is realized through the practice of alternative activities like yoga, tai chi and various types of massage.

If after this introduction, you are planning a holiday of health, you can also have the possibility to visit the modern spas. Generally, the waters of these centers have healing components. But the very environment itself is often a place to relax with a good climate for rest and rehabilitation of those who visit.

Hot Springs
As the saying goes “All that glitters is gold” and therefore not all waters that flow from the land are not curative springs. To consider and, the temperature must exceed by more than five degrees to surface water because it comes from underground sources and in transit to the outside contact with hot stones, which give it the minerals. This gives the properties sought for the prevention and cure of diseases.

Today’s spas have changed their offer to introduce activities designed for the whole family, especially for children. Thus, many also include adventure tours with walking, hiking and horseback riding. After a day outdoors is nothing better than to take a break floating in warm waters.

Something to keep in mind is that many of these hot springs have temperatures ranging from 37 º C to 41 º C. Why is important this factor? Just to choose what time of year to travel. Due to high temperatures, the baths are an ideal destination for winter or cold months to warm.

Spas
Unlike the hot springs, Spa installation does not depend on the natural resources of the area. Therefore it is common to find in large cities. As low temperatures increase mood disorders, such as the winter is high season for these sites. The Spa is the ideal place to enjoy a restorative holiday without travel.

The same applies to the hot springs of the region of Cuyo (Mendoza), since they occur at the base of the volcano Overo. In this same area you will discover two of the most visited sites both for its healing waters and for its landscape and tourism very broad: the Puente del Inca and the Baths of Cacheuta.

To the north, in Santiago del Estero, Rio Hondo Hot Springs offers a wide variety of services and proposals to suit budgets and styles of each traveler.

Finally on the coast you will find cities with their own baths and spas: In Concordia, Federation, Columbus and Villa Elisa therapeutic tourism is growing and calls increasing amount of passengers.

Puyehue hot springs
Crossing the Andes, the land of Neruda offers an impressive thermal center surrounded by mountains and volcanoes covered by beautiful foliage Puyehue Hot Springs.
Health and relaxation in Maldives
This island is the Hotel Soneva Fushi, which offers a dream. The site designed especially for relaxation and privacy, is organized by small rustic houses located on the coast of the island, white sand and perfect weather. Then the “crematerapia” where you cover them with creams derived from the seed from which comes the chocolate and if missing something sweeter, add some honey while your skin and relax muscles are stretched.

Aguascalientes, very hot
In Aguascalientes, Mexico, and the hot springs are old. It seems that the entire state is painted by these waters that are found in several of its municipalities. Some of his most important resorts are Charco Azul, Borunda, Rancho Puente, Seats and Pichardo with hot springs, sulfur, minerals or just drinking. In Calvillo, city and municipal southwest of Aguascalientes can also visit the hot springs. The last resort is located near the border with the state of Zacatecas and medicinal hot springs. Finally La Cantera, 6 km. east of the city of Aguascalientes, a sulphurous spa waters of 36-38 degrees Celsius.

Hungary and the Gellert Baths
In Budapest, Hungarian capital, the Gellert Baths are already known since the beginning of the century. This large building on the banks of the Danube was built in 1918. Today is home to the Gellert Hotel and Spa, a place where you can choose between terminals 123 and 400 sources of mineral water. The baths are a wonder in itself: it is covered with ceramic tiles, decorated Columbus, stained glass, hanging plants and fine marble statues.

Almost every country has its hot springs, some large part of recreational facilities; others continue to emerge from the earth in remote places. The truth is that they are an invigorating and refreshing destination. If the year’s work has left you exhausted, spa and thermal centers will bring the vitality between curative baths, massages and therapies of all kinds.

Trujillo, Peru: Capital of Spring

This beautiful celebration was born more than 45 years in the classroom of the Liceo de Dolores. The math teacher at the time, Vicente Vetervide had the idea of holding students to a conference of communal living, Timothy Ramospé Peninsula, to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Students, teachers and some parents, for several consecutive years attended the festival which opened with parades and caravan of carriages pulled by horses and adorned with ornamental, whose trip began and ended at the Lyceum on the peninsula.

The fun

The first parties were held in September, but now are the second Saturday of October each year. For the people of Dolores this is a very significant event and it is for this reason that the preparations begin months in advance. Many involved in the preparation of the floats, which are now self-propelled, and are concerned because each of them is stunning by the sight of the audience.

The big Sunday

From early morning until Monday, the music keeps ringing in Dolores, where all streets are decorated for the morning parade of troupes and choreography.

Among other activities, many attend the peninsula to the submission of candidates to reign and musical acts of student groups and guest artists. In the night, after the parade a great feast takes place at the Estadio Carlos A. Magnone, where the queen is crowned, will choose the best floats of the parades and is celebrated with dancing and revelry.

The next day is Monday and Burial say goodbye to the party. The winning parade floats back and many students and travelers gather for the entertainment of the closure.

From the morning sports activities are carried out, electronic music and parties, along with preventive health campaigns. Also, in some parts of the Recoleta, dances are held spring and circus shows that captivate many viewers with their performances in the city generating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

In Buenos Aires, the first day of spring is a great celebration throughout the city, but most young people prefer to visit the forests of Palermo where there is the biggest event of all. Thousands of people go to raves with the most important DJs of the local scene. The party was worth it. If you have much time you can visit the Japanese Garden, which also perform some special activities for the previous day.

Discovering that your suitcase is broken or opened bottles of perfume spilled on your clothes and your documents is the worst way to begin or end a trip. But cool! With these tips you can choose the best bag to take with you, so forget about the problems that may occur and to dedicate yourself to enjoy a well deserved holiday!

Anyone who has traveled a few times have seen dripping fluid bags open or battered while awaiting the arrival of his luggage conveyor belt. Take a moment to select the appropriate case before a trip can save you a tremendous headache.
For long trips I recommend a hard case, especially for holidays in the style of Samsonite, which are quite tough and resilient. A good idea is to buy one with enough space, where even if you place you pack plenty of things you buy during your trip without having to carry extra bags.

If the trip will be short (one day, for example) for business reason or another, for you plus a small suitcase or handbag that you carry with you (you must call the airport and make sure the size limit to avoid last minute surprises).

Try to get a suitcase or bag that has several pockets and compartments, it is very helpful to have passports, documents and other important things.

Wheeled Luggage

The built-in wheels are a great advantage because the weight of the bag rests on them and do not try so hard to bring her back and forth. They are very comfortable, but be sure to bring an extendable handle to handle. I commented on the care that the wheels are quite resistant, but not the handle, which can be split to a bad move. Take appropriate precautions.

A good advice: these bags are not road, so take into account not fill completely. It happened to me think “Wow, I can put everything, all I will not charge it!” nothing wrong. The first steps that I had almost ended up with a hernia.

Waterproof Cases

Some bags fade easily, even when others resist alcohol or acetone spills. Is not you never thought to ask that when you buy a bag? The fact that they are waterproof is very important because the bag can get wet during the trip due to an unforeseen transportation or just another case that is spilling liquid. If you do not want your clothes end up with horrible spots that you can never remove, consider the issue of waterproofing. An important fact is that the best bags can not withstand more than 15 minutes of direct action of water (this is inevitable).

A suitcase for each destination

Depending on the type of trip and destination will be better to take another kind of luggage. For example, if you do a tour or transfer you from one city to another, the ideal is but a small suitcase with wheels that can move effortlessly from side to side.

It is good to have accessible compartments where you put the camera, an accessory (mp3 player, iPod, etc.) Or cloth required, as a hat or scarf, you will be very useful. Even if you can carry an umbrella can save the day before a sudden climate change.

On the other hand, if the journey is long and the bag will only airplane, train, etc. the hotel and back, the ideal is a large suitcase, tough, where you put everything you need to not having to spend unnecessary money buying things you already have.

Each year for two weeks of July, the art is at its best: theater, dance, opera, music, visual arts, readings and more. I invite you to learn a unique festival that brings the great South African cultural spirit with each heartbeat.

The National Arts Festival is not a single event, but many. The National Youth Festival Jazz lover and Awards Standard Bank young artists are also part of this event.

It began in 1974 as a project of the Grahamstown Foundation, arriving today to be the second largest arts festival on the planet.

If you have the opportunity to attend the festival, you will see more than 120,000 participants for 10 days fill the “University City” (where Rhodes University) making a unique artistic display, a burst of creative talent nurtured by the most diverse cultures throughout South Africa.

Day and night without stopping, without interruption, you can enjoy live music, street performers, and walking tours, readings, etc. In addition, always never rest the endless craft markets, ideal to buy many souvenirs dating back to you once you experience the journey again.

The “green” city
Known as the most important tourist routes in the region, Grahamstown has a history dating back to colonial days, so it has an incredible display of Victorian style marked more than 40 churches, forts and other buildings.

It is also considered a “green” city because it has thousands of acres dedicated to nature and conservation of flora and fauna, you can visit with a guide. You will take an unforgettable experience.

Grahamstown is also a city for lovers of birds. Thomas Baines Nature Reserve is just outside the city, like the Great Fish River Reserve, and both offer a wide variety of rare birds that jaw-dropping.

For lovers of hiking or “trekking” is the path of “Oldenburgian”, which took two days to cover, beginning and ending at the gates of the city. Other routes are known and smaller and Gowie Dassie Krantz Kloof. Ask for them to locals.

A festival out of this world
The festival takes place between late June and early July so the weather is rather cold, because of that everyone wears coats, scarves and gloves.

It will see both foreign and native artists. The population of the city of Grahamstown is doubled for 10 days Imagine! Not for nothing is one of the biggest festivals in the world. Nearly 50,000 people migrate to the city in those days, hungry for entertainment, cultural entertainment, souvenirs and recreational activities.

Every hall or large room becomes a theater, with each park and sports field fit a traditional market and the whole city, which does not allow you to escape more than 500 shows ranging from opera, theater and jazz up comedy style stand-up “(monologue) and African folk music.

Eye young people and lovers of electronic music have their place in this festival so great. All the time there is a giant industry where rave parties are held to the sound of a punch-punch ending.

For the more exotic are the medieval banquets, where it all goes back to a bygone era filled with noble fantasy. You can dress up, dance and laugh until mad.

Some people prefer to travel with cash and not using cards. There are those who dare not travel without a few bucks in their pockets … The truth is that at least once in life we all try to find the best way to carry money on a trip and avoid theft.

Where do you keep the money? Find out in this article and pick your favorite hiding place.

Although the best approach when a trip is handled with cards or traveler’s checks, the reality is that many people still continue to choose the cash as payment. But tickets can bring to bear a big problem: the theft and straying. There are two situations for which no traveler wants to spend. Still, if you travel with money are not free to travel frustrated … unless you make use of foolproof tips to take your money safe:

1. Carry it with you
The golden rule when traveling is to bring money with you at all times. Airports, terminals and ports are not very safe areas. There is always the possibility that someone with bad intentions will take your luggage or your coat. At the same time is not unusual for a bag gets lost, losing all the content … If you prefer not to expose yourself to a situation of this kind do not leave notes ever. Keep them in the clothes you wear or, though less desirable, in a hand bag.

2. Away from other
Choose a hideout where the money to be safe without having to watch 24 hours a day, clinging to a garment or a small backpack. So, instead of using a bag or a coat and a temporary safe, you try small envelopes of fabric tied to your waist, always under your pants. So always be certain that you have values. If it is summer and travel with light clothes you do not want an envelope of fabric under your pants. In that case you can choose to hide the notes in nylon bags and place them in your shoes, always under the insole. Neither have you noticed that you travel with cash.

3. Avoid drawing attention
There are more unsafe destinations than others. If you’re in an area where robberies are common travelers, the precautions you should exercise extreme. Do not keep all the money in a single garment. Choose two or more caches and shared values between them. This will give you any package attracts attention.

4. Divide
If you travel with more than one person divides the money. Do not let it be one which bears the values. It is important that everyone takes part. This means that if one of your peers is stolen, even have the money carried by others. Otherwise, carry all is a stressful position for the person responsible.

5. Cash lifeline
When traveling, never let all the notes in the same hiding place. Think of a possible situation where you have to pay a taxi, a coffee, a magazine for carrying on the plane … It would not be good to start poking around among the inner pockets of your vest, pulling out wads of money. It is best to always carry some cash handy for dealing with some last-minute charges without noting the more money you carry with you.

6. Insecure accommodation
When you arrive at your destination the problem of keeping the money remains in force. And all it will get worse if the accommodation where you stay does not seem to be a trusted site. In that case, if the values are afraid to leave your hotel room for fear of theft has two paths. The first is to choose the values you carry. The second is to hide the money in your personal effects. A good spot would be inside a vacuum bottle, such as a shampoo or lotion base plate. If the container is translucent, place the money and surround it with cotton, so the tickets will not be outside.

7. When you can trust
If instead you stay in a hotel in confidence, you can choose to save the values in the safe. Where the accommodation provided, this service, you will find it a very safe and perfect for leaving your money there, with the reassurance that nothing bad can happen. Safes are usually found in the hotel reception or in the interior of the rooms.

You may have noticed that in many situations you just have to make use of common sense. Avoid theft on a trip is part of the attitude with which you show, especially in places where insecurity is the order of the day. If you are the typical tourist with a camera around his neck, a large backpack on your shoulders and the ever present hat for the sun, you will be very easy prey. Try not to draw attention, act like you do in your city, and be kind to the premises and to hide your wallet in public. Have you already memorized the seven golden rules? Good luck on your journey…
